Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce

Easley Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament and Business Expo

Was a HUGE success

(MORE GOLF PHOTOS COMING SOON!)

Smithfields Country Club was the site of the 15th annual Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce golf tournament and business expo on May 6. Hendrick Honda was the presenting sponsor for the tournament with a beautiful 2008 Honda Accord as the Hole in one prize. Firehouse Subs provided lunch for the players and sponsors and Applebee’s provided the Steak dinner for the awards dinner.

Miss Easley 2008, Ambra Yarbrough, Miss Easley Teen 2008, Amanda Parker and Miss South Carolina 2008, Crystal Garrett, were there throughout the day to meet the 22 team players and take photographs. The golf tournament was also a business expo with a different business represented at each hole.

“I have played in many golf tournaments. This was as fun and as relaxing a day as I have ever had playing golf. I liked meeting the business sponsors on the holes. It did not slow play,” stated Scott Buckhiester of Dunburks Premier Events. “The chamber’s planning and execution of the event was well done. Keep up the good work!”

Thank you also to Smithfields Country Club for all their help with making this year’s tournament such a success. Thank you to the grounds crew for the great condition of the golf course.
